Andre Romelle Young was born in Compton California in 1965. Dre’s love for music was triggered by his parents. The middle name Romelle came from the singing group whose father was in the 1950s. He grew up in the midst of gang violence that encouraged his mother to place him in a better school but because of a bad grade he returned to the Compton public school. He has his first son at the age of 16 years. He never met his son until 20 years later. As a teenager he started DJ at a club called The Eve After Dark. He dropped out of school to focus on DJ-Ing. He then went under the Moniker Dr. Dre.
While working at the Dre nightclub met Ice Cube who introduced it to Eazy-E who was building the label Ruthless Records. NWA was formed showing the Arab Prince, Dj Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Ice Cube. MC Ren joined in 1988, with the Arab prince left the group in the same year.
